Saturday Testimonies

"Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise." Jeremiah 17:14

Here are excerpts from some of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer's permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying.

Look what the Lord has done this past week:

"Praise God, my husband is on the way home. If God had not kept nudging me I would have divorced my husband by what he was doing in the natural. It wasn't until he moved out months ago that God finally got hold of me and I could finally, clearly hear Him. As sure as I was that I was going to divorce, I suddenly became just as sure that I would stand. Two weeks ago my husband asked me out. We spent the entire weekend together. He is talking about moving back home and saying he knows more every day that he needs to be home with his family. God's Word never returns void." (Georgia)

"My beloved husband left and married the other woman and they are expecting a baby. My children are now with them on vacation. In the eyes of the world I should be moving on. I praise the Lord for what I have and count my blessings every day. I thank the Lord that after many years I have found Him and I know that He is watching over my children and me. I am so happy that through my earthly pain, I am at peace in my heart and that I know that my children and I are under God’s protection every day. Praise the Lord." (Netherlands)

"I have been standing for my miracle for many months. Trials have come and gone, the latest being last week when I received an unexpected pay cut due to new rules. Later I was called down to administration and walked out with the assurance that this would be made right and that I would be taken care of. God does fight our battles. Praise Him." (Tennessee)

"God is so good. After years of no communication, my mother-in- law is now so kind to me. Now she lives minutes from me. My children and I were blessed to move back into our family’s home. I give God the glory for working out such a small mortgage payment. When my mother-in-law visited us and saw we didn't have a refrigerator, she offered us her old one for free. She is also the reason my children are now speaking to their dad after a long period of no communication. Praise God." (Alabama)

"My husband told me that he found his wedding ring in his desk at work. He showed his co-worker and told him that he would be wearing it forever pretty soon. I know it is just a matter of time before we are remarried. I praise God for these wonderful words from my prodigal." (California)

"My husband said he wanted a divorce. I was served with consent to divorce papers. He moved out and said he would be lodging for a court date. Praise God nothing has materialized. I am trusting God that my husband will be home. Yesterday two friends said God told them my husband is on his way home. I thank you for your mails that uplifted me when I was down. Every message was like it was intended especially for me." (South Africa)

"My husband called one afternoon and by that night he was in the town where I am and we spent over a day together. We have plans to spend next weekend in our home together. He has been in the far country for several years and says he and the other person are splitting up." (State Removed)

"I went up for prayer at church. As I went up, I asked God for a sign. Our pastor stopped at me and said I should keep turning my heart toward God and I will see healing, deliverance and restoration. I was excited." (Texas)

"Weekends are usually difficult for me, being alone, but this weekend, I have been so blessed. My spouse went to my parents' house and out to eat with them. This is the answer to a prayer. I also received Bob's new book and reading it is so encouraging. It is amazing to see how God answers small prayers. This is the day (weekend) the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." (Arkansas)

"When I got home my husband had one bag and told me he was leaving home. I asked him to talk a bit. He stayed at home, and things are getting better now. I really thank the Lord because He told me go home and stop my husband’s leaving. Glory to God." (New York)

"My final court hearing was this week. I prayed for it to be cancelled, but it didn't happen. My husband came unprepared with financial information. It is now delayed 30 days. Praise the Lord. My husband and I ran into each other outside the courthouse and talked. He is coming to our house in a few weeks to clear things out. This will be the first time he will be in our home in years. My husband may feel he is coming to get his things, but I know that the Lord is in the middle of all this and will change my husband's heart while at home." (Pennsylvania)

My divorce hearing was last week. When his attorney was talking, my husband and I kept complimenting one another instead of attacking each other. At the end, I hugged him and his mom. His attorney was amazed and hugged me as we were leaving. My husband and I had little contact prior to the hearing and I thought his heart was stone. I was able to see just how broken he was. Everyone in the courtroom saw God at work and He will restore." (Maryland)

"I asked the Lord in prayer to speak with me about my marriage. The Lord spoke and said hold on, don't let go. I then asked the Lord for confirmation. On my way running an errand, I looked to my right and saw a sign that said Harrison Park. That is where my husband and I got married. Praise the Lord. The blessing is that I never noticed the sign before. To God be the Glory." (Virginia)

"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment." 1 Timothy 6:7
