 Saturday Testimonies

"Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD." Psalm 150:1-2,6

On Saturdays we share excerpts from a few testimonies we have received during the past week. These are not intended to be examples of what God wants, but to show you that He heals hurting and dead marriages, regardless of the circumstances.

Look what the Lord has done:

"My husband left and I have been standing in the faith that the Lord gave me. About a month ago when I was led to your web site. Little by little my husband began to call and wants to see me. Last weekend he invited me to his apartment and told me that he no longer wants the divorce but desires to stay married. God is faithful." (New York)
"On the third day of complaining to God about who is in control, I drove up to a red light and the car in front of me had a bumper sticker that read 'God Is In Control.' God is faithful even when I am not. Praise and glory to Him." (California)
"There is nothing too hard for my God. After a few years of separation and threats of divorce the Lord has answered our prayers. My husband has been back home for a month. I thank all who prayed. Please continue to pray for prodigals." (Georgia)
"I was driving to the lake for a baptism service. Along the way I passed several of the black and white billboards signed God. I was feeling very blessed and uplifted and then I saw a Covenant Transport truck. Within a few miles another Covenant truck passed by. I started praising my Lord out loud while driving down the Interstate. It was a blessed day of encouragement from my Lord." (Tennessee)
"My husband and I separated last year. All along he gave me the impression that our relationship was hopeless, but today he called me to say that he loves me. Praise the Lord for beginning to move the mountain of anger and soften his heart." (New York)
"Thank You, Lord for delivering my husband out of the miry clay. We are spending time watching TV and having dinner together. God is rebuilding our marriage on the solid rock of Jesus Christ." (Singapore)
"Three days before Father's Day my prodigal sent me a text saying he'd be in town for the weekend. I knew it was God working because he lives hundreds of miles away and had no intention of being here. My daughter had prayed that she could see her dad on Father's Day and God answered. It was also the day she was baptized. God is amazing." (Ohio)
"My husband has been in the far country for years and has been blinded by the enemy. He spent hours driving to come and see our daughter's talent night at school. He stayed for a coffee and then drove hours back to the other person, all in the middle of the week. This has never happened before. All praise to God who does amazing work on our prodigal’s hearts and minds." (New Zealand)
"My husband recently lost his job. That very day, I received an unexpected refund check from my insurance company. God is my source and always takes care of me." (Florida)
"My prodigal husband moved out of state and has been gone a few years. I had not seen him. I bought a home. It has been fixed up and equipped with family photos on the walls including our wedding photos. This past weekend my husband and adult son showed up on my doorstep without any forewarning. They came to meet our granddaughter but I know God is working." (Pennsylvania)
"I want to testify to God answering our prayers. I had been praying regarding my anniversary coming up and asked God for any acknowledgment from my husband regarding our anniversary. In God's perfect timing, my husband texted me the day before our anniversary. What a blessing to go through my anniversary knowing that my husband is thinking about me. God is so good." (Virginia)
"The faith I have in God and His Word have given me strength to stand for my marriage. My husband and I been communicating over the telephone for months. He has been over to visit me several times. He also told me that he loves me. I give God all the glory and honor." (Ohio)
"This week, during one of the enemy's attacks, I was given Jeremiah 29:11 and Bob's statement, 'God doesn't say He can but that He will provide.' On that day He orchestrated the convergence of two men. One came to work on a septic issue and the other to repair a huge mechanical problem that would cost thousands of dollars. They were not scheduled to be there at the same time. I was gifted the primary mechanical part by one who just happened to have it idle in his shop for over a year." (Pennsylvania)
"For the years we have been separated I have said that my husband is not my provider, God is. It was easy to say while I was getting my child support. Today my husband called to tell me he has been fired. Lots of 'What will I do’s?' came to mind. I decided to sit down and look at 'Charlyne Cares' and what was the title? 'God Will Take Care of You.' I laughed so hard. I immediately posted it to my Facebook. God is good. Thanks, you two." (Michigan)
"Praise to God for His faithfulness. After last year's rock slide we in western North Carolina suffered hardship, especially the restaurant where I worked. I lost most of my hours. The Interstate recently reopened. Through this I still gave my tithe at church and my monthly contribution with Rejoice Marriage Ministries." (North Carolina)
"This week, on our anniversary, I received an email from Rejoice Marriage Ministries telling me that my prodigal and I were being prayed for. I praise God for His amazing display of power and love. He is on my side." (New Jersey)
"My husband, who is a non-believer, has taken a religion class online. He had to interview a pastor and chose our church. The pastor also used my husband as a reference during his sermon. God is so good." (Oregon)
"I gave my testimony with 200 men at our men’s group. I shared with what Jesus has been doing in my life since separating from my wife last year. At the end of the night I presented an altar call and one man asked Jesus into his heart. Several others recommitted their lives back to Christ. Praise the Lord."  (Washington)

"You yourselves have seen everything the LORD your God has done to all these nations for your sake; it was the LORD your God who fought for you." Joshua 23:3
