Saturday Testimonies
"But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone." Psalm 71:14-16
Each Saturday we share excerpts from some of the testimonies the Ministry has received that week. These are passed along to encourage you that God is moving, not to be examples of what you should or should not be doing.
Look what the Lord has done -
"I have been standing for my prodigal husband for many years. Last night after I cried out to the Lord to receive contact from my husband he called for the second time in all those years. He said he loved me and I told him I love him more today than ever and I will continue to wait and pray for him. I have no doubt my mighty God is working on the other side of the mountain. Praise God for His kept promises."
(Montana)
"We divorced and I pursued a relationship with someone else. My husband was about to marry his girlfriend, but that also fell through. I began to stand on God's Word for restoration of my marriage. On the anniversary of our first date, we had our marriage restored. We both have centered our lives around Christ. God is so good."
(Indiana)
"After ball practice my husband said he would take our daughter to get her new equipment. We were in two vehicles and our daughter decided to ride with her daddy. I got behind when we were leaving practice and my prodigal had pulled over on the side of the road to wait for me. I was smiling in my heart to know God had laid it on his heart to wait for me. Thank You, Lord."
(Tennessee)
"God is great. Not really believing anymore; worrying about the example I set to the children; tears, pain and envy. Yet, in spite of all this, God continues to send His angels to support me. These are miracles I don't deserve. I know then the truth of Song of Solomon 8:6-7 that was on our wedding invitation; 'Love as strong as death, waters unable to quench love, money being unable to buy love.' I read them again and see God's greatness."
(Hong Kong)
I had a tough time yesterday and asked the Lord to please have my husband call. While I was getting ready for dinner, the call came. It was short and I was nervous. After a few minutes happiness filled inside me and I gave thanks to God for this gift. I pray this is a sign of my husband’s softening heart."
(Illinois)
"The day after Valentine's Day my son and I said a prayer for my husband. My husband and I hadn't spoken or seen each other in months. I prayed for God to place it on my husband’s heart to call us. Then I could know that God was working on the other side of the mountain. In a few minutes my prayer was answered. I received a text from my husband with his new number and that he wanted to talk to us. Thank You, Lord."
(Arizona)
"Praise God, I just led my father in the sinner’s prayer. He knows that if he should die today he is going to Heaven."
(Florida)
"It has been one year since the restoration of our marriage and I thank God for the victory. Our marriage is better than it was before. We both have a deep appreciation for each other and do not take each other for granted like we used to. Don't give up. God is faithful to do what He said He would do."
(Michigan)
"One year ago, I was penniless when my husband left me for the other woman. Today I am able to lend him money to tide him through his trying period. Thank You, God for this opportunity to show my husband how much I have changed through You."
(Singapore)
"After years of no contact my husband and I have been talking frequently. Although our phone calls are information for divorce proceedings, our conversations get a little deeper each time and I am sensing compassion in my husband’s heart. I got to see him and his family and I was able to apologize and seek forgiveness from them all. I was able to embrace my husband and he returned the hug. It is amazing to see God use the information needed for a divorce to bring us to a point of conversation. Praise God for His mighty work."
(Pennsylvania)
"This past weekend everyone around me was getting involved in different ministry opportunities. I had three opportunities come before me but felt the Lord was saying no to each. I asked Him what I was called to. I asked if my heart for marriage restoration distracted me from His call on my life. Today I opened 'Charlyne Cares' and the title was 'Your Calling-Marriage Restoration.' Thank You, God and thank you, Charlyne and all at Rejoice."
(Colorado)
"I spend quiet time with the Lord daily and have found Him to be an ever faithful Father. In recent weeks I have cried out to Him with questions. As I was driving home one afternoon, on a church marquee I read 'There is power in prayer.' I was given scriptures in answer to my questions. Praise and glory to our God."
(Pennsylvania)
"My prodigal came to our state to visit our children at our home. The visit was great and we both apologized for things leading to divorce. He wants to come home but is feeling guilty about leaving the other person. I am glad that I was prepared for this through your ministry teachings. I know now is not the time to get weary but to be steadfast in prayer and fasting. Jesus is Lord."
(Georgia)
"I thought of not sending my husband a Christmas gift. I always do and he accepts. After much thought and praying I felt I should send him some pictures of his family before we were married. I did, he accepted and wanted more. I believe God is working on the other side of the mountain."
(Canada)
"God is amazing. Not only did my wife call today, but she asked if I wanted a piece of furniture back that she had taken with her, saying it doesn't fit in where she is staying. Praise the Lord, I believe this is only the beginning of more things that don't 'fit in' coming back home."
(Utah)
"One of my children asked me why it was taking Daddy so long to come home. I said that I did not know. My young son responded by saying that he felt it was partly my fault. I asked why he felt that way. He said that it appeared to him by the way I was living that Daddy coming home was a back-up plan for me. It was an arrow to my heart, but I learned that he was right. I was not truly living in faith. I thank God for using my son to point that out."
(South Carolina)
"Yesterday God sent a stranger to me. He saw my mother’s handicapped parking sign in a store parking lot and asked if he could pray for her. She agreed. After he was done he got in his car to leave. I hurried over and thanked him for praying. I asked this stranger to pray for my marriage. He prayed the sweetest prayer. As he prayed I thanked the Lord for sending this angel at the right moment."
(North Carolina)
"When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, 'I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.' And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised." Hebrews 6:13-15
